With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Smith Collett of Annville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 4, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Smith and Linda Jane Smith (Slusher); her former husband Roy Collett; her husband Walter Edward Smith; her son Don Collett; her stepdaughter Jeanice Smith; her siblings, Vernon, Lonnie, Homer Smith, Gail Sue Asher and Janet Slusher; and her grandson Don Roy Collett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rita Hatfield (Lynn) of Annville and Lisa Anderson (Bill) of Annville; her stepchildren, Edna, Maxine, Brenda, Tina, Michael, Steven, Mauldie, Linden and Debbie; her brothers, Raymond Smith (Nancy) and Kenneth Smith (Janice); and her grandchildren, Christi Collett, Edith Michelle Hensley (Shawn), Julie Stith (Ben), Joe Collett (McKenzie), Jessica Shearer (Russ), Brian Anderson (Jatana) and Jonathan Anderson (LaTasha).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakes Funeral Home (1181 Main St, McKee, KY 40447). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
