She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Carrie Lee Blevins Martin; her husband Glen "Frankie" Forbes; her son Steven Mark Forbes; and her siblings, Roy Martin, Troy Martin, Ralph Martin, Gene Martin, Ed Martin, Bobby Martin, Phyllis Rose, Betty Asch, Lucy Johnson and Ruth Rose.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Forbes (Kim) of Argillite, Kentucky, Lori Baier (Brian) of Argillite, Beth Clifton (J. R.) of Raceland and Reva Rutledge (Todd) of Argillite, Kentucky; her sister Carrie "Dodie" Bradford of Grayson, Kentucky; and her daughter-in-law Shari Sammons Forbes of Greenup. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
