He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas and Cloah Belt (Hall); and his parents-in-law, James and Erma Brown Blevins. He is survived by: his wife Gretta Lydell Blevins Belt; his sons, Bradley Belt of Argillite, Kentucky and Brandon Belt of Argillite, Kentucky; his sisters, Connie Belt of Ashland and Karen Belt of Greenup, Kentucky; and his sisters-in-law, Angie James (Rick) of Argillite, Kentucky and Kathy Christian (JR) of Argillite, Kentucky. He is also survived by niece, four nephews, and a host of wonderful friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reed Funeral Home (612 Main St, Greenup, KY 41144). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
