He was predeceased by: his parents, Nickie Blevins and Sara Myrtle Rose Blevins; his wife Erma Jean Blevins; his granddaughter Hannah Christian; and his siblings, Arnold Rose, Chester Rose, Sherline McCarty, Geraldine Bradford and Phyllis Speta.

He is survived by: his daughters, Angela James (Rick) of Argillite, Kentucky, Gretta Belt (Jim) of Argillite, Kentucky and Kathy Christian (McKinley) of Argillite, Kentucky; his sister Ruth Brown of Argillite, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Cameron Blevins (Jessie) of Argillite, Bradley Belt of Argillite, Ross James of Ashland, Peyton James of Pleasant Hill, Brandon Belt of Argillite, McKinzie Christian of Argillite and McKinley "Trey" Christian of Argillite; and his great grandchildren, Briar Blevins and Rylan Rogers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
