He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Leslie Lawhorn Sr. and Nora Leigh Hutchinson Lawhorn. He is survived by: his wife Rosetta Brown Lawhorn; his daughter Michelle Renfroe (Aaron); his brother Melvin Leslie Lawhorn Jr. (Erin); and his grandchildren, Brayden Meadows, Laney Meadows, Jason Tyler Meadows, Gage Renfroe and Cooper Renfroe.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home (707 Greenup Ave, Raceland, KY 41169). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
