He is survived by: his wife Janice DeHart (Akers); his son Connor DeHart (McKenzie) of Westerville, Ohio.; his sister Vicki Harper of Lexington; and his aunt Jeannie Harris of Flatwoods, Kentucky..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Westerville (104 S Spring Rd, Westerville, OH 43081). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast (100 Veterans Mem Dr, Argillite, KY 41121).
