He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Morgan and Mary T. Rhodes Miller; his wife Maudie Hammons; his daughter Delora Ann Bruner; his siblings, Jess, Walter, Cecil Miller, Sadie Miller, Marie Arnett, Stella Melton and Delora Campbell; and his pet Otto.

He is survived by: his son William Carl "Dobbin" Miller Jr. of Artemus; and his niece Soandra Campbell.
