He is survived by: his wife Mary Standifur Cantrell of Ashcamp, KY; and his siblings, Randall Curtis Cantrell of Ashcamp, KY, Lila Veneda Sanders of Georgetown, KY, Ruby Robinson of Greasy Creek, KY and Carmeletta Spears of Elkhorn City, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 12:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church (6718 Elkhorn Creek, Ashcamp, KY 41512). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
