It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amy Jo Morrison of Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Amy Jo Morrison to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Morton Collins and Bessie Elam Collins; her husband John Donald Morrison; her son Stephen Christopher Morrison; her siblings, Blanche Black, Willodean Perry, Elizabeth Engdahl, Kelly Collins and Stanley Collins; her niece Gwen Tackett; and her nephew Dwight Collins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheree Bartley (Greg) of Russell, KY and Joan Morrison of Smyrna, TN; her sister Judy Davis of Midway, GA; and her siblings-in-law, Kathy Collins of West Liberty, KY and Everett "Duke" Morrison (Katie) of Ashland, KY. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Steen Funeral Homes - Central Ave Chapel (1501 Central Ave, Ashland, KY 41101). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
