She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Simpson; her parents, Lafe Albert and Virgie Caines Barnett; her son-in-law Richard Patrick; and her siblings, Arley Eugene Barnett, Clarence Barnett, Bill Moore, Ida Marie Whitt and Letha Coburn.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Simpson (Karen) of Ashland and Jacqueline Patrick of Ashland; her grandchildren, Tiffani Johnson, Mick Brown and Richard Patrick II; and her great grandchildren, Riley Johnson, Sophia Johnson, Zachery Brown, Jacob Brown, Alyvia Patrick and Emma Patrick. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (1941 Carter Ave, Ashland, KY 41101). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna's honor may be made to Community Hospice (1480 Carter Ave. Ashland, Kentucky, 41101).
