It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Price (Ashland, Kentucky), born in Oil Springs, Kentucky, who passed away on February 20, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Joseph and Verna Ellen Hamilton Griffith; her former husband Lowell Keith Price; her daughter Tracy Leigh Price; her brothers, Thomas Edward Griffith, Paul Irvin Hitchcock, Charles Ishmael Hitchcock and Harold Norris Griffith; and her aunts, Myrtle Hamilton Cantrell and Ola Hamilton Williams.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Eads (Jamie) of Georgetown and Sherri Sirls (Sam) of Swannanoa, N. C.; her granddaughters, Brittany Anne Sirls of Swannanoa, N. C. and Skylar Victoria Eads of Georgetown; her sibling's children, Terry Griffith (Jennifer) of Ashland, Anita Woolsey (Greg) of Corpus Christi, Cindi Griffith (Kelly), Patti May (Richard) of Ashland and Lori Donohue (Richard) of Ironton, Ohio; and her sister Edyth Edwards of Plain City, Ohio.
