It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bill Stapleton of Ashland, Kentucky, born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on June 27, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Ted' and Buna Coleman Stapleton; and his grandson Robert Matthew Welch. He is survived by: his sisters, Catherine Allen and Lucille Stapleton; his children, Michael Kevin Stapleton (Carolyn) of Catlettsburg, KY, Pamela Sue Stapleton Welch (John) of Simpsonville, SC and Teddi Jo Stapleton Mansfield (Kent) of Ashland, KY; his granddaughters, Megan Leslie Webb (Alan) and Kaitlin Marie Callihan (Kevin); and his great grandchildren, Nora Gray Webb, Mason Robert Webb and Katherine Michelle Callihan. He is also survived by extended family and good friends.
