He was predeceased by: his father Jasper Marion; his wife Betty Sparks Wheeler; and his siblings, Ella Caskey, Carol DeWitt and Roger Wheeler.
He is survived by: his daughter Julie Peacock of Ashland; his siblings, Jasper Wheeler (Nancy) of Ashland, Kenny Wheeler (Loretta) of Ashland, Vina Mae Irons of Ceredo, Sharon Sparks of Boyd County and Sophie Fluty (Jim) of Morehead; his grandchildren, Chris Peacock, Allison Peacock and Maria Peacock; his extended family, Lee Ann Artis, Rush, Marie Wheeler of Boyd County and Tanner Baldridge of Ashland; and his friend Jeff Bramel. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
