He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Joe Friley and Juanita Cumbo Friley Cox. He is survived by: his wife Nina DeSantis; his children, Leslie Friley, Christin Friley (Brian) and Stephanie Gehring (Chris); his siblings, Peggy Wooten (Earl), Becky Hannon (Glen) and Gary "Steve" Friley (Patty); and his grandchildren, Halle, Bryna and Kylie Walker.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Boyd County CAReS.
