With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bobby J. Vanover of Ashland, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 18, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Vanover and Mary Terry Vanover; his wife Johanna J. Vanover; his daughter Tracy Vanover; and his siblings, William Arthur Vanover, Mary Katherine Vanover, Betty Lou Black Wynn and Doris Ann Woods.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Vanover (Angie) and Randy Vanover of Ashland; his siblings, John Vanover (Marsha) of Ashland, Doug Vanover (Janet) of Russell, Emilie McKinney (Ray) of Catlettsburg and Faye Rakes (Paul) of Catlettsburg; his sister-in-law Alberta Vanover of Ashland; his granddaughters, McKenzie Kirk (Mason), Rilee Vanover, Morgan Vanover and Reyce Vanover; and his great grandchildren, Barrett Kirk, Wyatt Kirk and Roy Hicks.
