He was predeceased by: his parents, Greenville Slone and Virginia Slone; and his brothers, Chris and Henry Allen. He is survived by: his close friend Linda Harty of Ashland; his children, John Slone (Michelle) of Antioch, CA and Jennifer Perry of Tracy, CA; his siblings, John Allen (Robin) of Delphos, OH and Judy Pennington (Charles) of Warsaw; his grandchildren, Aiden Miller, Safara Slone, Sianna Slone, Aubrey Felton, Abby Felton and Anthony Hackworth; and his nephew Timothy Pennington. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
