He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jeff Thornbury and Maggilee Thornbury; his sister Sharron Faye Nibert (Charles); his wife Sheila Kerns Thornbury of Ashland; his brother John Thornbury (Reta) of Lexington; his children, Tara Kinnel (Wayne) and Shawn Thornbury (Julie) of Ashland; his stepdaughters, Becky Garmon (Brian Mosher) and Beth Self (Jeremy) of Atlanta, GA; and his grandchildren, Maggie, Sydney Kinnel, Lilah, Emmy, Landry Thornbury, Tyler, Emily Garmon, Tanner (Abby) and Ansley Self.
