He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Blanton and Lula Caudill Blanton; and his sister Leatha. He is survived by: his son-in-law Jon Johnson; his siblings, James, Bill, Drexel, Joann, Genoa and Frances; his wife Evelyn Fleming Blanton; his daughter Trisha Dawn Johnson; his grandsons, Michael Blake Johnson and Dallas Brumfield; and his brother Gary Blanton (Victoria). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
