He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto F. Duerk and Nelly Mae Holbrook Duerk; his wife Dorothy Lee Duerk; and his brothers, Melvin E., William Ray and Robert Erick Duerk.
He is survived by: his sons, Christopher D. Duerk (Kim) of Rockport, IN and Erick Lee Duerk (Tonia) of Mt. Washington, KY; and his grandchildren, Natalie Duerk of Rockport, IN, Katherine Duerk of Rockport, IN, Kody Duerk of Mt. Washington, KY and Bryce Duerk (Haylee) of Mt. Washington, KY.
