She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Edward Sutton Jr. and Nancy Elizabeth Soper Sutton. She is survived by : her children, Travis Williams (Rachel) of LaGrange, KY and Heather Williams Crites of Ashland; her siblings, Harold Edward Sutton III of Ashland and Robin Sutton of Flatwoods, KY; her grandchildren, Eleanor Williams, Cecilia Williams, Taylor White, Haylee White, Emma Thornsbury, Jaycee Thornsbury and Levi Thorsbury; and her great grandchildren, Paisley Blevins, Bella Blevins, Garnet Helton and Briar Helton.

“God Bless and prayers go out to Debbie's family at this sad time. Debbie was my next door neighbor and a delight to talk with and sing with. We enjoyed our community garden together and listening to music with laughter and memories of our youth. She will be sorely missed by I and my sisters who really enjoyed having such a wonderful neighbor and friend as her. We often commented on her awesome tshirts. Thank you Debbie for shining your beautiful light into our lives.”
