He was predeceased by: his wife Ethel Fannin Burton Salyers; and his sons, David B. Salyers and Jeffrey Salyers. He is survived by: his sister Linda Gutierrez (Michael). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
