It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donnie Jim Hartman Sr. of Ashland, Kentucky, born in Culloden, West Virginia, who passed away on October 26, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Jarrett; his daughter Tammy Cheri Slone; and his granddaughter Jennifer Hartman. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Sue Steele Hartman of Ashland; and his children, Donnie J. Hartman, Jr. of Ashland, Carolyn Sharp (Ernie) of Ashland and Lisa Wilson (Adam) of Westwood. He is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
