She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Howard and Agatha Howard; and her siblings, Betty Wood, Harold Howard, Joe Howard, Clifford Howard and Garrett Howard.
She is survived by: her husband Willard "Sandy" Saunders; her daughter Katharine Weber; her son-in-law Gregory Weber; her grandchildren, Corinne McDonnell (Luke McDonnell), Noah Weber, Nathan Weber and Gabrielle Weber; her sister Rebecca Gullett; and her sisters-in-law, Phyliss Howard and Ineke Howard. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Steen Funeral Home 13th Street Chapel (3409 13th St, Ashland, KY 41101). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Church, 900 Winchester Avenue, Ashland, Kentucky 41101, or to Community Hospice, Inc., an independent nonprofit organization serving Ashland and the surrounding communities.
