It is with sadness that the passing of Elizabeth A. LaFon of Ashland, Kentucky is shared. Elizabeth, born on November 6, 1927, passed away on August 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Elizabeth will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Elizabeth by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Elizabeth is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Elizabeth’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Albert and Drusilla Evelyn Parsons Belcher; her husbands, Charles L. Stayton and Waldo LaFon; and her siblings, George Albert Belcher, Jr. and Betty Ruth Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Brown (Bob) of Ashland; her grandson Kyle Brown (Sarah Renfro); and her great grandchild Miriam Brown.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church (1930 Winchester Ave, Ashland, KY 41101). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
