He was predeceased by: his parents, James Garfield and Hazel Ross Scott; his son Steven Randal Scott; and his sister Jimmie Ross Smithson. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Scott of Boyd County, KY; his children, Gary B. Scott (Gayla) of Flatwoods, KY and Debbi Gill (David) of Flatwoods, KY; and his sister Carole Pierce of Morehead, KY. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Elwood's memory should be made to Community Hospice.
