She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jayne and Edith Brewer Jayne of Ashland; her grandparents, Emma Wheatley Brewer Jayne of Ashland, Professor William L. and Virgie Hamilton Jayne of Morehead; and her siblings, Elizabeth Brewer Jayne and Dr. John William Jayne of Chattanooga, Tennessee.. She is also survived by several cousins, a niece, and four nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Ashland.
