Garnet N. Riffe Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Garnet N. Riffe (Ashland, Kentucky), who passed away on October 16, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Audrey Nichols (Scott) and Charlie Nichols; and her husband Douglas Riffe, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Victoria Blanton (Gary), Douglas Riffe (Melanie) and Myra Reid (Steve); her grandchildren, Jay Shannon (Tara), Kathleen Haynes (Jim), Eric Riffe, Tiffany Barker, Garrett Reid, Carolyn Reid and Payton Reid (Bethany); and her great grandchildren, Evie, Bo, Pippa Shannon, Tyson, Lyla Haynes, Eric Ware, Rosie Ware, Titus Barker, Claire and Elias Reid.
Prior to the pandemic, Garnet stayed socially active with various groups such as the Wesley Sunday School Class at her church, in her community by being a King's Daughter's Hospital volunteer and in the world by participating in the Operation Christmas Child outreach.
In lieu of flowers, donations may go to Cornerstone Methodist backpack program (helping children in need have supplies and food) or to Cornerstone Methodist Church for Operation Christmas Child.
