He is survived by: his wife Valerie Kemper of Ashland, KY; his sisters, Carol Henson (Bernard "Butch") of South Point, OH and Carol Johnson (Lee) of San Antonio, TX; his siblings-in-law, Becky Hitchens (Charlie) of Gulf Shores, AL, Curt Selby (Debbie) of Fresco, TX and Larry Hilton (Jenny) of St. Paul, MN; and his siblings' children, Lisa Griffith (Randall) of Ashland, KY, Missy Hall (Darrell) of Chesapeake, OH, Melanie Brogan (Scott Mauk) of Proctorville, OH and Christopher Kemper (Brandi) of Lexington, KY.
