She was predeceased by: her husband James V. Powers; and her parents, Thurman Baker and Ada Barker Baker. She is survived by: her children, Timothy D. Powers (Lisa), James L. Powers (Mary), Cathy L. Jewett (Rusty) and Laura B. Black (Tim). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (1941 Carter Ave, Ashland, KY 41101). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
