He was predeceased by: his father James Leland Carney; and his sister Kathy Lynn Lynch Taylor. He is survived by: his mother Judith Gillian Lynch of Ashland, KY; his brother Jay Carney of Georgetown, KY; and his brother-in-law Paul Taylor of Ona, WV.
