She was predeceased by: her father William Farmer; her husband Willard Troy Abernathy; her daughter Beverly Gail Miller; and her siblings, Maron Pearce, J. B. Pearce, Lorene Blaydes, Imogene Self and Catherine McCurry.
She is survived by: her son Brian Abernathy (Kris) of Westwood; her grandchildren, Joanna Lorraine "Lori" Bloomer (Phillip) of Ashland and Matthew Arron Lovelace (Brandie Meece) of Ashland; her great grandchildren, Noah Sexton, Aaron Bloomer, Charlotte Bloomer, Austin Lovelace, Nicholas Lovelace and Brooklyn Comstock; her great great grandchildren, Emma Jane Bloomer and Lachland Bloomer; and her son-in-law Dennis Miller of Westwood. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
