She was predeceased by: her mother Evelyn Williams Woodruff; her son Christopher Hudson; and her brother Nelson Sutton. She is survived by: her husband John Sanders; her son Daniel Hudson (Karen); and her grandsons, Emery and Levi Hudson.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Ashland Salvation Army Emergency Shelter at 2212 Carter Ave, Ashland, KY 4110, where she volunteered for many years.
