He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Henry Geyer and Allene Beam Geyer. He is survived by: his wife Anita Lorene Geyer; his daughters, Kimberly Dawn Sparks (Bert) of Ashland and Tamara Leigh Nicholson (Marvin) of Lexington, KY; and his grandsons, Dr. Garrett Matthew Sparks (Courtney) of Pittsburgh, PA and Eli James Nicholson of Lexington, KY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rose Hill Baptist Church.
