He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hughes Porter of Ashland, KY; his son Steven Porter (Theresa) of Catlettsburg, KY; his siblings, Thomas Jefferson Porter (Wanda Lee) of Webbville, KY and Barbara Daniels (Larry) of Russell, KY.; his daughter-in-law Shari Porter of Charleston, IL; his grandchildren, James Andrew Porter, III (Nikki) of Gibson City, IL, Steven Andrew Porter (Jessica) of Ashland, KY, Breanna Carlen (Cole) of Charleston, IL, Myriah Albrecht (Robert) of Lexington, KY and Brooke Curry Henderson (Trevor) of Windsor, IL; his great grandchildren, Jada Porter, Kaisen Carlen, Kyler Carlen, Kolton Carlen, Alyssa Porter, Rosalie Curry Henderson, Kreed Carlen, Waylon Ruffin and Levi Ruffin; and his stepgrandsons, Nicholas Dundee (Loran), Scott Dundee (Brooke) and Wade Dundee (Courtney).
