He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Newsome and Bernice Newsome; and his siblings, William "Gordy" Newsome, Michael Newsome and Annette Collins.
He is survived by: his children, James Newsome (Shawn), Katie Stover (Scotty), Safire Browning (Caleb), Cheyenne Stamper (Blake) and Dominick Edenfield (Nolan); his grandchildren, Dameon, Reagan, Jameson, Myah, Wade, Crissi, Oliver and Ember; and his siblings, Freida (Dean), Curtis Newsome and Mathew Newsome.
In lieu of Flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Alcoholics Anonymous instead.
