He was predeceased by: his father Freelan VanHoose; his son Anthony "Tony" VanHoose; and his brothers, Bill VanHoose, Bob VanHoose and Jay VanHoose.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Land VanHoose; his sons, Jimmy VanHoose (April) and Mike VanHoose (Tracy); his daughter-in-law Becky VanHoose; and his brother Ray VanHoose (Mary). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
