He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer P. Jarvis and Cora M. Day Jarvis; his wife Ruth J. Runyon Jarvis; and his brothers, Elmer Jarvis (June) and William Jarvis (Bill).
He is survived by: his children, Larry Jarvis (Debbie) of Grayson, KY, Joe Jarvis (Judy) of Fieldale, VA and Kim Jarvis Howes (Steve) of Ellisville, MO; his grandchildren, Jessica Jarvis, Joan Jarvis Tyler (Brian), Amanda Howes Fickbohm (John) and Adam Howes (Haley); and his great grandchildren, Chloe Kennedy Quaife (Quentin), Jackie Kennedy, Mia Howes and Adalynn Howes. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel (3409 13th St, Ashland, KY 41102). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
