With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Ann McCarthy Hodges of Ashland, Kentucky, born in Lynch, Kentucky, who passed away on February 8, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John McCarthy and Susie Drobnak McCarthy; her husband James Alford Hodges; her sons, Charles Philip Hodges, Norman Dennis Hodges and Thomas Allen Hodges; and her grandson Chadwick Scott Collier.
She is survived by: her children, James Brian Hodges (Virginia) of Travellers Rest, SC, Lisha Irene Pierce (David) of Flatwoods, Ann ReJene Seagraves of Ashland Ky and Kathryn Michelle Hodges of Wilmore.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, as the search for a cure for childhood cancer was something near and dear to Kathleen's heart.
