With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kevin Ray Tussey of Ashland, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2026 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Kevin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kevin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Danny Joe Tussey; and his brother Timothy Tussey. He is survived by: his son Kyle Tussey of Chillicothe; his brother Joey Tussey of Grayson; his stepfather Pete Evans; and his stepsiblings, Robert Evans and Tina Short.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Lazear Funeral Home Chapel (1632 Central Ave, Ashland, KY 41101). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 at the Palmer Cemetery.
