He was predeceased by: his father Neisler Welch; his grandparents, Lola, Stanley Bradley, Wilbert Hord (Butch II) and Teresa Bennett; and his uncles, Garfield Vaughn and Milton Jr. Bennett.

He is survived by: his mother Meaka Carter; his children, Kiani Serene Carter, Raylee Shani Pringle, Meah Dawn Pringle, Neriah Serae Carter, Kaiden Sincere Carter, Kayleigh Carman Isabelle and Justin Donald Roberts Potts; his grandmother Virginia Sexton; his godchildren, Zjaytyia Lee Mize, Mckenzie Nicole Tolbert, Orion Jumar Tolbert and Tyrell Mize; and his siblings, Dondrea Carter, Rashard Carter, Joshua (Johnathon Sexton) and Zhonna Carter.

Memorial donations should be made to the funeral chapel to help with expenses.
