With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lasonya Locklear of Ashland, Kentucky, born in Laurinburg, North Carolina, who passed away on August 31, 2022 at the age of 54. She was predeceased by: her parent Harriel Locklear; her brother Robert Locklear; and her niece Seeson Locklear. She is survived by: her mother Opal Johnson Locklear (Johnson); her siblings, Ricky Locklear and Sheila Locklear; her siblings' children, Alexander McGuire, Riley McGuire, Mary Elizabeth Baker and Norriel Oxendine; and her great-nephews, Chance Locklear and Jayden Croucher.
