He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Truitt and Evelyn Fout Truitt; his wife Sarah Truitt; and his brother Phillip Truitt. He is survived by: his children, Dwayne Truitt (Melissa) of Greenup, KY and Allison Ferrell (Jordan) of Barboursville; his brother Wilson "Ed" Truitt (Susan) of Leon, WV; his close friend Xander Maddox Truitt of Barboursville; Tracker. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; a bus full of grandchildren.
