She was predeceased by: her parents, Lincoln "Dub" Kouns, and Betty Clark Kouns, Sr.; her brother Johnny Kouns; and her brothers-in-law, Tom Payne and Ike Blevins.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Pope; her children, Christi Wolfe, Scott Lagore (Robin), Denise Moore and Misty Alley; her stepchildren, Larry Pope (Debbie), Steve Pope (Lynn) and Donna Owens (Bill); her siblings, Junior Kouns (Bonnie), Rockey Kouns (Dianne), Sharon Worley, Karen Huffman, Carrie Payne, Becky Francis (Rick), Barb Blevins and Robin Collins; and her grandchildren, Mike, Brett, Mariah, Tyler, Cody, Chuck and Jeremy. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ashland Heights Wesleyan Church (2271 Sellars St, Ashland, KY 41101).
