With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mayme Jane Roberts of Ashland, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 21, 2026 at the age of 79. In the vast expanse of eternity, Mayme Jane shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mayme Jane farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Kouns and Margaret "Peg" Hacguard Kouns; her son Michael D. Roberts; and her grandchild Micah Roberts. She is survived by: her husband Dale P. Roberts; her son Patrick Y. Roberts (Jennifer) of Ashland; her stepson Charles J. Roberts (Belinda) of Winchester; her grandchildren, Faith Roberts, Dylan Roberts, Taylor Rankin (Ryan) and Luke Mathews; and her great grandchild Walker Rankin.
