He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Hicks and Pearlie Hale Hicks; and his brothers, Henderson and Mark Hicks. He is survived by: his siblings, Mike, Charles, Paul, Edgar Hicks, Ruby Oliver, Mima May and Betty Hicks.
