With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Edward McCoy of Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on March 22, 2024 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William McCoy and Iretta Rucker McCoy; his children, Josh McCoy (Alex) of Ashland, Kentucky and Shelly McCoy of Ashland, Kentucky; his sister Angela Varney (Robert) of Ashland, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Vivian, Landon, Jude and Delilah.

In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made in Michael's honor to Catlettsburg Harvest Church of God Food Bank, Pitiful Paws Rescue, or Hillcrest-Bruce Mission.
