She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Marushi and Eleanor Marushi; her husband Jack VanHoose; her siblings, Betty Thacker, Jack (Eloise Marushi), Bill (Lois Marushi) and Dave (Betty Marushi); and her great grandchild Kate Withrow.

She is survived by: her sons, Jack (Terri), Brent (Sharon) and Greg VanHoose (Julianne); her grandchildren, Jaclyn Cotton (Ben), Ashley Withrow (Trey), Drew VanHoose (Scott), Christian VanHoose (Kelly), Sydney Dillard (James), Taylor Perri (Jake), Lauren VanHoose, Lindsey VanHoose, Ann-Marie Ewing (Marcus) and Chris Ewing (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Cameron, Jack, Evan Withrow, Charlotte, Brooklyn VanHoose, Landon, Quinn, Rosie Perri, Rowan VanHoose, James Dillard IV, Amirah and Bryce Higgins; and her sisters-in-law, Victoria Marushi, Mary Barker (Roger) and Joyce Snyder.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the UK KDMC Health Foundation and Community Hospice.
