He was predeceased by: his father Bernard Donta; and his wife Christine Oakes Donta. He is survived by: his daughter Sherri Ann Donta; his son-in-law Allen Abbott; his brother David Donta (Tonda); and his sibling's children, John David (Susan) and Kimberly Jo Donta (Brett R. Davis).
