She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Howard and Dorothy Thompson Starkey; her husband Roger E. Qualls; her son-in-law Rick Lucas; her siblings, Patricia Robinson, Mary Sexton and James Curt Starkey; and her nephews, Paul Sexton, Richard Robinson and Gary Robinson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jerri Carpenter (Ken), Sue Qualls of Ashland, Sara Lou English of Olive Hill and Linda Qualls Campbell of Berea, KY; her grandchildren, Christy Register (Bobby), Cyndi Smith (Kevin) and Rocky Lucas; her great grandchildren, Natalie Smith, Kimberly Smith, Mason Register and Aden Register; her nieces, Pam Payton (Steve), Kim Neal, Dorothy Robinson (Greg), Kay Wu (David) and Teresa Sexton; and her nephew Bill Robinson (Lisa). She is also survived by many friends and extended family.
