She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Howard and Dorothy Thompson Starkey; her husband Roger E. Qualls; her son-in-law Rick Lucas; her siblings, Patricia Robinson, Mary Sexton and James Curt Starkey; and her nephews, Paul Sexton, Richard Robinson and Gary Robinson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jerri Carpenter (Ken), Sue Qualls of Ashland, Sara Lou English of Olive Hill and Linda Qualls Campbell of Berea, KY; her grandchildren, Christy Register (Bobby), Cyndi Smith (Kevin) and Rocky Lucas; her great grandchildren, Natalie Smith, Kimberly Smith, Mason Register and Aden Register; and her sibling's children, Pam Payton (Steve), Kim Neal, Dorothy Robinson (Greg), Kay Wu (David), Teresa Sexton and Bill Robinson (Lisa). She is also survived by many friends and extended family.
