She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Blanton and Mary Hall Blanton; her son Charles Johnson; her grandchildren, Christina Johnson and Tyler Johnson; her siblings, Rosemary Blevins (Ronald) and Larry Sparks; and her brother-in-law Danny Terry.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Johnson; her children, Sherry Prince (Jerry), Charlie E. Johnson (Heather) and James R. Johnson; her grandchildren, Todd Rye (Alisha), Fisher Johnson (Destiny), Tyler Ray and Kendell Purdue; her great grandchildren, Braylon Downey, Ava Downey, Everlee Johnson, Harley Johnson and Lucas Bustetter; and her siblings, Judy Terry, James Bowling, Mike Bowling (Shelia) and Randy Bowling (Pam).
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM and on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Lazear Funeral Home Chapel (1632 Central Ave, Ashland, KY 41101).
